I
stay active not only because I love to… but because I have to! I am
the mom of three wild boys! I have always had a passion for fitness
and decided that I wanted to make a career change and become a Personal
Trainer. I have been athletic since I was a child, and began running
races in adulthood. I am certified through the NSPA as a Personal
Trainer, a Certified Transitions Lifestyle Coach, and a nationally
certified spinning instructor.
I
have accomplished many things I never thought imaginable because of
hard work and dedication! I completed my first sprint triathlon in
2007 and my first ½ marathon in 2008 while pregnant with my third son! In
between, I have run some great races like the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler
and Army 10 Miler. My next goal is to run my first full marathon in
January of 2010 in the fantastic Walt Disney World!!!
As a down-to-earth mom, I hope to inspire other women to take an active role in their own health. In today’s world, we need to stay on top of wellness and prevention, not wait until we get bad news from the doctor or are already sick.
